We have been so busy creating in the art room that it has been hard to keep up. BUT I have now added new posts for each year group be sure to look at the amazing work PK have been creating all about themselves, have a look at how KG1 have been exploring their senses in the art room, KG2 have created some amazingly varied and interesting pieces using light and G1 have been very busy making their own Aboriginal art.

Be sure to look at the different covers the children are making for this year's art portfolios. Pk are using various materials in one colour to create a picture, KG1 have painted around a circle. KG2 have drawn and painted some wonderful self portraits and Grade 1 are going to be printing their self portrait tiles. Look below for a sneak preview!Last week we all discussed what we could each do to make our time in the art room a meaningful experience for us all, and to make it the best it could be. We all decided that the following 4 points would help everyone to have great lessons.
We have now completed one full cycle of the school year and it has been a very busy time in the art room. There have been lots of new faces and many familiar ones and it has wonderful to see so many enthusiastic happy children. Please do look at your child's class pages to see just what each year group has been up to.
